Bali Deli open in Jakarta

Good news for Jakarta - city dwellers can now enjoy driving their shopping trolleys around the aisles of Bali Deli savoring delicious, high quality ingredients from around the world. As an anchor tenant, Bali Deli is located on the Lower Ground floor of Sudirman Place Shopping Complex, and had its soft opening ceremony on Wednesday, April 19th.

As well as the usual product highlights such as European cheeses and delicatessen, home made pastas, imported meats, fresh, ready to cook fish, organic & health products, sandwiches & salad bar there will also be greater emphasis on pre-cooked gourmet dishes as well as daily baked breads, cakes & pastries strategically located near the coffee shop.

The overall supermarket design combines a Fresh Delicatessen, Butchery, Creamery, and Asian corner which border a European style open market concept.

World famous Designer Mimi Coutulier and Architect, Popo Danes have created a unique feel for Bali Deli with an emphasis on the character and quality of the furniture, fixtures and finishing, to give the customer a sensory experience. Using only the latest in modern technology and equipment imported directly from Germany and Europe, the kitchens offer first class production facilities.

Bali Deli is child-friendly as well, giving the whole family an opportunity to enjoy and have fun in a relaxed shopping environment. And to finish the shopping experience, easy drive through pick-up will be provided as well as special take-away, delivery and outside catering arrangements.

In the opening ceremony, Mr. Alexander Jovanovic – the President Director – stated that he and all the Bali Deli team believe that together they have taken Bali Deli Jakarta to another retail level which can be described as a true first “5 star” boutique gourmet supermarket.

Another highlight will be an up-market wine cellar and La Tapas signature restaurant and bar that will be serving all-day traditional Tapas portions for lunch, dinner and supper. Opening early next month, this will be a highlight on the Jakarta dining scene.
