Kuta vs Seminyak Part 2

Kuta took a long time to recover from the devastating night of October 2002. By the end of 2003, even with SARS and The Iraq War affecting the number of visitors to Bali, Seminyak had conclusively snatched the glory in the Bali nightlife. Kuta was continuing to languish a year later, while the bars in Seminyak were doing record numbers.
Spy Bar, which was already a hit before the bomb, was doing better numbers every month from November 2002 through 2003 and the rest of Dhyana Pura was not lagging too far behind. The owners of Spy mentioned, at the time, that they did better figures in the November than August of 2002, which is normally totally unheard of, and the whole street was on, what seemed, an inexhaustible roll, expanding and developing at an incredible pace for almost two years.
