Celebrating Independence Day With The Queen’s Family
Among the numerous local Independence Day celebrations that went on August 17th was a unique party at Queens Tandoor. The employees and big family at this Jl. Seminyak Indian restaurant created a festive atmosphere by engaging in a number of fun party games such as chess, "makan krupuk" (eat the hanging chips), and "lari kelereng" (run with a spoon while balancing a marble on it). Winners received prizes presented by the owner and family of the restaurant. Goes to show, keeping it simple with traditional fun fares doesn’t make the celebration any less of a party. ++
