June 11th 2005 saw a sensational dinner for the Bali chapter of Chaine De Rotisseurs
Upon arrival guests were served champagne and canapés overlooking the Azure Indian Ocean with beautiful water falls and candle lit surroundings.
This was an evening themed around fresh herbs and each course was perfectly prepared with a different herb from Tarragon to Basil. General Manager Thierry Joho played the perfect host and seemed to enjoy the surprised look on our faces when we were all asked to join him outside for the Sorbet course which was presented on a wall of ice with individual slots carved in the ice that held each of our sorbets. A great effort by the culinary team at Nikko Resort and Spa.//Jeff
