The final series in the Bali Mall Galleria’s anniversary event wrapped up on Saturday 25th June with a performance from one of Indonesia’s top pop singers, Nadila. Her popularity with the public made for a hectic gig at the open stage which began with some drag queen performances that really built up the crowd response. The event started out at 5 pm as dancers wearing outrageous Mardi-Gras style costumes took the stage. This was followed by a brightly colored fashion show and then by a live performance from a band called, “Cool Water,” playing Indonesian top-40 songs. Nadila made her sudden entrance during their performance and flowed with some of the better known Indonesian songs. The final act was a happy birthday sing-a-long as the birthday cake was brought out and ended the joyful birthday celebration for the mall and its staff. //gino-G++
