Friday the 24th marked the third time the ground floor beach section of Discovery Mall has been used to stage a massive party, this time to commemorate the grand opening of the Bali Colada Cafe....and grand an opening it was. It all kicked off at around 11:30 p.m. with the party animals flowing in, drawn by the beats provided by DJ’s Georgia and Lanang. Special guest headliner, Tomasso da Donatis from Germany, eventually took control of the decks and set off the dance floor which was lit up by a roving searchlight, laser light show, and the usual sexy/fire dancers cooking things up. The massive sound system shook the beach with earth rumbling intensity and drove the ravers wild as they gyrated to DJ Tomasso’s trademark trance sound. A real blow out for the Bali Colado opening. //gino - G++
