Last June the 5th Bali Tango Club was launched at thE sunseT. The objective of the club is to introduce tango to Bali, making it a centre for the Argentine dance in Indonesia. Every Tuesday and Thursday lessons take place and every 6 weeks an intensive workshop. As part of the Tour de Tango program, they’ll be bringing in some professional tango dancers from abroad, allowing students to learn from masters.If you fancy having a go, get your shiny tango shoes and you’re ready to go. There are plans to bring a group of Malaysian Tango dancers to Bali in August and an extended workshop with Philippines based Tango maestro Ogie Mendoza is schedules for 13 – 25 June.
