KDT Announces a Few Adjustments
Ku De Ta recently introduced a new dinner menu, which started June 1. Sticking with their successful fine dining Australian Contemporary cuisine, chefs Asif and Rob like to keep their regulars on their toes with a few new items and change the menu every three months or so. Also, they announced that they’ve knocked the price down on the Tapas menu (must be that community Sunday spirit in effect down there), which will, no doubt, bring the folks flocking in to sample some tasty morsels for lunch.

Trattoria Going National

Trattoria has told us that they will be opening a restaurant soon in Jakarta. After building quite a phenomenal reputation in Bali over the last two years serving home-style Italian cooking at reasonable prices and opening a new pizza/lunch bar earlier this year, the lads are broadening their horizons to the big smoke, Jakarta. All the players in town seem to end up gravitating to that place and giving it a go. It’ll be a free standing Italian restaurant, larger than the Oberoi establishment with three floors, lounge, bar, and a new chef and manager coming directly from Italy. Good luck to them, we wish the boys all the best and Pondok Indah will be looking all the better for this new Italian restaurant around late September.

Venue Menu at the Moon

Venue at the Moon in Oberoi launched some new dishes on their menu last week, which no doubt will make the place even more appetizing. It’s basically the same menu but now with eight new mains like, Salmon Pasta White Cream Sauce and Caperberries, Chicken Saltimbocca, Roasted Sirloin Surf and Turf, ten new entrees, Gourmet Hamburger, Souvlaki, Garlic Prawns and four more tapas, including new dips and tortilla chips. Also, now you can have three tapas and bread for 40. Desserts too have been spruced up with Pavlova and Hot Apple Surprise to name a couple of the new choices. Their new Asian Menu, which includes 18 new dishes from all over Asia not just Indonesia will be launched on June 10 and just a reminder, the fine dining menu is available till 12 midnight and the tapas menu till 2am. As you see the Venue is keeping busy trying to get it right for the punters and continues to shine on Oberoi Road.
