A group of Balinese and Indonesian representatives of the horticultural industry here will be going to one of the biggest Trade Shows in September for horticultural business in the world at Flormart Miflor in Milan, Italy. This will be the first time that Indonesian businesses have got together to make the trip as a group and according to one of the principals behind this effort, Thorston from Tropland Landscapers, “It’s a great opportunity for all businesses involved in horticulture or suppliers of all outdoor products in this country to show and sell their wares. This trade show is the door to Europe and especially Russia, which is a very vibrant market now. We are encouraging all businesses that deal with the outdoors to participate.”
Last week the group, which includes participation from ASBINDO, the Indonesian flower association, held a meeting for potential traders for the show at the RGH Building at Puri Estetic in Sanur. The show is on in Milan, Italy. September 16 – 18, 2005.
