Remember that old movie “Mutiny on the Bounty”? where they’re welcomed to Pitcairn island by a bevy of beautiful island girls? Or is that another movie... Well anyway, that scene was recreated down at the Bounty Club on Thursday night with a special line up of Hula dancers hitting the stage to the sound of some traditional Hawaiian songs blaring over the soundsystem.

The Bintang Beer T-shirts were out in force, the Jungle juice was flowing and all the male members of the audience had their eyes planted on the stage and their tongues getting stepped on. There was more male magnetism later with some models prancing about the place, as the DJ got the dancefloor moving with some more familiar R&B. Next time I’m gonna throw on a Hawaiian Shirt, get me a Pina Colada and really get into the hula spirit. //gino++
