SOLIDAZ IN THE ‘NICK’ OF TIME
Solidaz’s Newest Attire

New Zealand’s Solidaz, a cover band that have been out and about for 6 years on and off the island and all over Asia, has a new singer. Meet Nick; recognize the familiar smile? It is definitely not his first time entertaining us here in the island. Formerly known as the energetic front man of the band “Crave”, Nicholas Frasier Black came to Bali three years ago to play a solid 3 months gig at the Hard Rock Café.

After the split of Crave two years ago, Nick who was a childhood friend of Solidaz’s leader Kristan automatically accepted the offer to join in. “We did our first gig together in Dubai and Jakarta before we came here.” Says Nick, who also mention on how playing in Bali feels more like a holiday then work.

Nick, who’s famous around the island as a down to earth person with a high energy and compliant performance, appears naturally as the soul attraction among the NZ boys. Replacing the former female singer of Solidaz, April, Nick works quite hard in proving that Solidaz is okay without a sweet icing of a female voice. Prove it yourself; do drop in to see these boys in action at Centerstage, Hard Rock Hotel. MK
