Two years ago Kuta was reeling from the aftereffects of the bomb and went into a downward spin with hardly a stray dog seen on the streets for six months.

Seminyak and in particular, Jl Dhyana Pura took over as the nightlife centre of Bali and boomed. In the last few months though it’s turned 180 degrees and now Kuta is drawing the early crowds to most of its central venues.
