On a sunny afternoon, we’re all looking at the equally sunny smile of Mr. Jamal Hussain, the General Manager of Hard Rock Hotel Bali. He and his team have gathered with us journalists at the Boom Box room to inform us of the happy news about the Rock ‘N Run 4: Quadrophenia.

This yearly charity event was held on October 3, 2004 and more than 500 participants turned out to ‘run for someone else’s life’. Participants ran 5 kilometers, set on their way by Bapak IGN. Oka Dharmawan SH (the Chief of Tourism of Badung), starting and finishing in front of Hard Rock Hotel. The winner of the race, with a time of 16 minutes 37 seconds, was Albert Kamlasi, a national athlete from Nusa Tenggara.

This year, the Rock ‘N Run 4: Quadrophenia managed to collect a record breaking Rp. 30. 527. 931,-, all of which will go to Yayasan Citra Usadha, a non governmental organization (NGO) founded to assist children and families living with HIV in the Buleleng region, Bali.
