The Beat in Jakarta has changed recently and we’ve gone back to sending the Bali edition up to the big city. There are a number of reasons for this happening, which I won’t go into here but we’ll just say the tyranny of distance played a part. For the Bali advertisers though it’s good news cause their word goes right across the country again.
So, you folks in Jakarta that love coming to Bali are going to be kept better informed again.
However, there’s a few things to watch out for in Jakarta in the next couple of weeks. Those into pop/rock are well catered for with concerts from Agnes, Ari Lasso, Blue and mega hair metal band Scorpions. Dance music followers can get the groove in the clubs with all the usual DJ action but if you’re looking for weekend away you could try the Jogyakarta rave on Sept 12.

Ok, let’s see what happens next. Ed

The Beat is available in Jakarta at Plaza Indonesia, the Airport, Aphrodite, Retro, Bliss, Club Monaco, Front Row, TGI Fridays, Bugils Café and Le Meridien. Check it out!
