This time round, Bliss, Jakarta are kicking off their Bali Party trilogy with Sinners In Paradise (Yeah, that means all you profligates that were down there gettin’ twisted!) featuring Johan Cyber (Cyber Records, Holland) with support from Lawrence (Bliss), Agoose (Indika FM) and Bali’s own Mario. Johan Cyber and his Cyber record label is huge in Holland. Actually he’s huge everywhere he goes.

Anywayz, he drops some nice synth-laden beats before Mario steps surreptitiously to the decks to take us through till dawn. Beat boy does his usual shuffling two step for a while before suffering a mild attack of paranoia when he thinks an ogre is staring him down. He gives the thumbs up signal and smiles to mask his terror, wishing there was a quicker way to climb down the bean stalk he so rashly ascended. Luckily beats and basslines cluster like branches around his feet and at last he makes his way back down. He turns and laughs madly at the sun before speeding home on his bebek.
