What an amazing weekend we
have coming up in Bali. If you like to party, you’ve
come to the right place. It actually kicked off last night,
Thursday at Centerstage with James Reyne and Mark Seymour
playing live then Lex Empress at Hu’u Bar and finishing
off with DJ Kaz James at 66. That was probably enough
to put you in bed for a week but watch out, it’s
on again tonight….
Café Wayang has another World Music event from
8pm, Hu’u Bar has visiting Jkt mag, Area putting
on a party with DJs, Maliq D’Essentials, Romy and
Achdiyat and Fashion Show, then later a big rave at Discovery
Villas in Canggu with Bliss from Jakarta opening up three
parties for this weekend. Mix in with that the Olympic
Games Opening and we’ve got quite a start to the
weekend of the year!

Meanwhile, the pressure is on. With Galungan halting
our printers for three days this week we had some hectic
days getting The Beat out this week. I hope it’s
in your hand on time and to be frank, it’s a miracle
if it is!
As you already know, there’s plenty on this week
and we wish you all a happy, peaceful and above all, a
