The Cliff Drops

It’s all deceptively quiet at Bali Cliff Villas considering there’s meant to be a rave going on. Feeling a bit bemused, The Beat crew hand over their passes and are promptly ushered to a lift.

We get in and it starts going down at a 45% angle and then we look through the window at a dimly lit lift shaft and things are getting trippy….
Another lift and as it glides smoothly downward at last we hear the muffled thud of electronic beats.

Doors open: welcome to the psychedelic playground. Moonchild’s Achdiyat is at the decks on a trance mission, one that will eventually bring in the dawn, as Moonwalkers’ (the party organisers) own DJs take over the beat selections.

There’s mad UV artwork everywhere and glancing up we clock a pitted stone roof and realise this is a cave goddamit! Tiered stone seats rise above us like an amphitheatre and below is a beach and the wild wild sea.
Then we danced and hugged some. As you do.
